Remember

First, I would like to remember all the people who gave their lives on this day in 2001.
Then, I would like to share some photos I found last night while doing some remembering of my own.
                                               Geauga Lake
The Main Gate.  There has NEVER been that many weeds.  It's SO depressing for me.
The big dipper.  *sigh* Larger Than Life.  I opened this attraction.  I opened a few attractions at Geauga Lake.  What a privilege.  LTL was SO fun!  Everything was HUGE and there were footpads all over that made noises.  Some of them sang.  I spent a lot of time stepping on the rain cloud that sang "Rain drops keep falling on my Head"   The Raging Wolf Bobs.  This was my first "big" ride.  This is where I graduated to from Rainbow Island.  *sigh*  When I left, I was one of two people who knew how to drive two trains on the Bobs.  The other was my best friend, Angela Gordon.  In 1999 they called me from the other side of the park because she needed a bathroom break and I was the only one in the park who could give her said break.  I just love this ride.  We rode at least once a day.  You could knock the phone off the hook if you knew where to hit the wall opposite of the phone!  :)  The hill mic could be heard half way up the midway and you could see ANYONE coming.  It was a straight shot from the operating booth to the midway.   Not that I don't enjoy being married and being a mama but those where the best days of my life!

Six on Sunday

1.  Michael has discovered the magic of an echo.  We went to a church member's house last night and they live in the middle of the woods.  We were outside looking around with Bonnie and Michael started yelling.  Mommy!  Mommy!  Yes Michael?  MOMMY!!!  What Buddy?  Do you hear my Boice talking to me?  Yes Buddy, I do hear your voice.  That's called an echo.  An Echo?  He has since heard his boice return to him in his own front yard.  Very exciting!
2. Carter was BUSTING up.  So... I took a video!
3. Michael was pouncing and bouncing all over Brian.  I have a video of that but there was an error loading it.  It will come at a later date!
4. For the record, Michael LOVES school!  He doesn't want to leave when he's there, he just can't wait to go back.  I hope this lasts.
5. We have officially started Hassel Graphics!!!
6. Our church picnic was today.  At a REST STOP!  That's just how they do down here!  :)  Let's just say the rest stop does not have flushing toilets.
P.S. there was a family reunion at the other pavilion.  May have been the poster family for a WV family reunion.  Ha ha ha ha ha!!!!

A little Harvesting

Looks like I'll be frying some okra!  We went to Massachusetts this weekend and when we got home this is what we found!!!!!  Michael was SO elated about the tomatoes.  You would have thought he hit the jackpot.  We haven't had to get a bowl yet.  It's never been more than 4 actually.
Look at the size of this baby!!!

First Day of Preschool

He picked out his clothes today and is VERY excited!  My big dude is going to preschool.  Everyone can bring one toy a day for the sharing basket.  If they don't share they can't bring another toy.  Anyway, he chose an airplane.  He's gonna be just like his Uncle Keith.
Behind him is St. S's.  It's a church, a preschool and an elementary school.   He's so excited, he's RUNNING to school.
