Funny Kid

So last night my boys were talking into the fan.  Michael accidentally put his finger in and the blades scared him all the way to the couch.  I asked him if he was okay and if I could see it.  He looked at it and as he turned his hand for me to see it he said, "No blood, no foul!"  I laughed so hard. We went outside to find Daddy to tell him.  Brian was so proud that he called Dan immediately!  

Lakeside Institute

We just got back from Institute!  What an amazing week!  It's incredible to me how much things change and how much they stay the same.  We still sing the same songs and have the same schedule as we did my first year.  There was even a Molly Moth sighting!  The staff has had changes but there are still staff from 1994!  The youth this year were simply amazing!!!  Some of the girls from Hilliard made up a song a couple of years ago and, since this was their first year, they decided to share it.  It goes a little something like this..."Donkeys are in love with carrots.  Carrots aren't in love at all.  Whee snaw, whee snaw.  Listen to that loving call!"  They have a dance and everything.  Oh, and MANY, MANY verses!  It was really hard to leave my boys but it was incredible to be so involved in Institute again!

Awwwww. Look at my Carter~Baby. WAIT JUST A MINUTE!!! That's not Carter!!! That is, none other than, Jacob Robert Alaburda!!!!! I just found these in a photo album. HOLY FREAKING CRAP! I can not believe how much my Carter~Baby looks like my cousin!!!! Carter, I want you to know, I will be one proud Mama if you turn out looking like adult Jacob! Love you Jake!

10 on Tuesday

1. We leave on Friday for camp.

2. I am no where close to ready for camp.

3. Carter went to the corner, for the first time, today.

4. He brought himself back to the same corner, stood in it, then turned around and smiled really big about 6 more times.  :º)  

5. I think he's going to be a real clown.  He's always babbling then cracking up.  I can't wait to hear what he's saying!

6. Today, my Arch Nemesis returned today.  Bleh!

7. Now the challenge is to wear only bummy clothes till Friday.

8. I'm getting my hair done tomorrow.

9. I need to make more space on my computer.  I can't even fit the 4th of July pictures on there!

10. I closed my Pampered Chef show today and got $140 in free jazz!!!

Michael had "Pop Rocks" yesterday.  He wanted more, hours after he had the first taste.  He asked me for "The Dancing Candy."   LOVE IT!

My girls are here.  Well, they were here.  I miss these kids so much!  Gwenn, Jadyn, Julia and Isaac were here on Monday night.  We had a great time hanging out and pigging out.  The kids made s'mores or Snores (as Julia called them) with Brian.  Gwenn and I put the little kids down and joined them outside.

We let them stay up late and then they camped out on the sofa bed.  It was so cute!  Michael woke Gwenn up at like 7:00 and said, "Do you know what my couch is made of?" Gwenn said tiredly, "No, I'm not sure what the couch is made of."  He said, "It's made of a bed!" Jules is the best jumper!   Then she changed and they had a water fight.  She is REALLY particular about what she wears and she LOVED wearing Michael's clothes.
