Another Friday Five

1. My trusty Sony H2 has broken.  It's already been gone for a week and I am really beginning to miss it.  Hopefully Sony will send it back to me shortly!  I have realized how much I miss my  EOS Rebel G.  The manual focus makes pictures so much more!

2. Angela Gordon is coming over Sunday night.  YAY!  We're going to the Columbus zoo on Monday.  I hear it's a fabulous zoo!  I haven't been to the zoo in years.  I think Michael is REALLY going to enjoy it!  He loves the
 "Amimals".

3. Still don't have my car back.  Patiently waiting for the phone call.

4. Brian is taking me out tonight.  Our 5th wedding anniversary is tomorrow.  Where does time go?  Happy Anniversary Baby!

5. Carter is 10 weeks old today.  If I had my digital camera back I could post some pictures.  Instead I'll post his first 8 weeks.  That's when the camera broke and I reverted to film.

Friday Five

1. The Out-laws are in!
2. My house is no where ready for tomorrows baptism guests.
3. My poor little fat guy (Pablo, my dog) just got a hair cut yesterday and every time he gets a trim he has more and more black spots on the white part of his skin.  He's speckled now.
4. My sister is having her very first recital for tap on Sunday.  I can't wait to see pictures!  Good luck Missy!  Aubrey is dancing too!  She will be a pretty princess dancing with her broom!  GO AUBS!
5. Todd is about to go cut our grass for the party tomorrow and Stuart is about to embark on the MONSTER weed wacker!  He's gonna look like a stick figure holding that thing!  I'll get pictures to post later!

Oh Deer

On my way home from Morgan's graduation I saw about 8 deer.  I continued down the dark and windy road to find yet another deer RUNNING RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!  I break so does he.  He didn't stand a chance.
F.Y.I. a Ford Explorer v.s. a deer... The deer never wins!
Progressive insurance ROCKS!  They are fixing everything and giving me a rental all for my deductible!  HOOORAY!
P.S. He did get a piece of me.  My front headlight and part of my bumper.
AND... I get to write my name on the Great wall of Yoderosa!

Toads and Worms

Today we are getting ready for our company next weekend.  Brian, while raking out the front area, found a toad.  He put it in a bucket to await Michael's waking.  Once Michael woke, Brian called him out to show him this prize find.  Michael TOTALLY freaked out!
As did the toad.  He hoppity hop hop hopped all over the place and PEEEEEED all over Brian's Hand!  Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
While helping Brian rake out that same area, he found some worms.  Michael made Brian pick them up so he could poke them.  Never held one.
He can't possibly be my child.  I used to pick up worms and tell my parents they tickled my hand.  Toads were like my best friends!  I ALWAYS played with them.

Mad Stander

Carter was so mad he straitened up his entire little body.  He stood for about 3 minutes while Brian simply steadied him.  He looks like such a little man when he does that!

Well..... Here we go!

Welcome to the Hassel's blog!
I imagine this will be mostly about Michael (3 years) and Carter (8 weeks).  Occasionally you might hear about Brian or myself.
Michael just had his third birthday at Chuck E. Cheese and LOVED it!  He tells us almost daily that he went down the big slide and climbed in the cave, or the hole, which ever is on his mind.  He got almost too many gifts for us to transport from Canton to Woodsfield!  He says the most wonderful things.  He makes me laugh EVERY day!
Carter is 8 weeks old today!  He has started kooing last week.  On Mother's day to be exact!  Thanks little man!  He loves me!  He really loves me!
I can totally handle having two Mama's boys!  I, for sure, already have one.  I'll take it!  Good times!
